Foralongtimethetranslationtalenttrainingmodeemphasizesmuchmoreontheoriescomparedwithpractice,whichisincompatiblewiththegreatdemandsformbothtranslationindustryandsociety.ThispaperaimstoexplorethestatusquoofWHUT-TRANSNMITinternshipprogramandanalyzethepotentialproblemsanddilemmathisprogramfacedwithbasedonthefactthattheresearchonthecooperationbetweenMTIstudentsandthetranslationenterprisesisstillwanting.Inaddition,toknowthestudents’experiencesandtheiropinionsabouttheprogramensuresthepracticabilityandscientificityoftheinternshipbase,andpossiblesuggestionsandcountermeasuresthatcantacklewiththeproblemswillbeproposed.Methodsasinvestigatingthebasiccircumstancesanddevelopmentofthisprogram,interviewingwithseveralgraduateinternsanddistributingrelevantquestionnairestoalargescaletoobtainthefirst-handinformationwillbeappliedduringtheresearchprocess.Theapproachesofschool-enterprisecooperationcanbevarious,thusprobingamoreoptimizedmodelenablesbothsidestogainmutualbenefits,achievecommonprogress,andfurtherpromotethetalenttrainingsoastocultivatemoreprofessionalandskillfulexperttranslatorsandbetterservethelocaleconomy.
