After the industrial revolution and the World War II, human material life and spiritual world has changed a lot. Since the beginning of twentieth Century, that western literature changed the yearning and depiction of perfect utopian world into the warning of dim dystopian world expressed authors’ rebellion to the future nightmare world and guided people to reflect on the alienation and distortion of human nature led by highly developed science and technology. Therefore, American adopted science fiction about dysyopian spirit began to emerge. These films revealed the most fundamental social flaws and depicted a sharp picture of the detriments caused by the downsides of political system, the abuse of science and technology as well as environmental pollution, resource depletion and so on.
