Asa way to express stories, comics are loved by more and more people in the longdevelopment. But the culture of Chinese and Western comics is different becauseof different development. However, Chinese comics road is dim. In recent years,when trying the same way to develop Chinese comics like western countries, wefound that the result is not ideal. In this context, comparing the culturaldifferences between Chinese and Western comics is particularly important forthe development of Chinese comics.

Thispaper discusses the differences between Chinese and Western comic culture fromthree aspects: Story design, creation methods and communication ways. Throughconsulting materials, this paper summarizes the Enlightenment of how to developChinese comic culture.
