Cartoon Animations are closely related to children's life andare one of the important entertainments for children. As the young children arestill in the critical period of learning language, children's vocabularyaccumulation is limited. And the language children master is mainly simple oralexpression, so the language in the cartoon Animations are very important forchildren. Chinese subtitles, as an important language input, are bound to havea great impact on children's listening and oral expression.

Peppa Pig is a British pre-school TV cartoon Animation. Inrecent years, the Chinese translation of Peppa Pig has been welcomed by manychildren aged between three and six and their parents in China. This papertakes the translation subtitling in the British animation Peppa Pig as theresearch object, and through the comparison between the English original filmand the Chinese translation version, this paper studies the colloquialtranslation strategy of children's animation subtitling, and points out thesimilarities and differences between the English original film and the Chinesetranslation version.
