鉴于当前的利用Gabor 小波对指纹进行增强的方法中滤波范围固定的缺点,提出了一种改进指纹增强方法对Gabor 小波的性质和指纹图像的内在特点做了深入的分析,确定Gabor 小波的方向和频率参数,并设定了一个可以根据局部纹路方向和频率自动调整的区域作为滤波范围对指纹图像进行增强实验结果表明,该方法可以有效地去除噪音,并且很好地恢复出纹路信息以增加指纹匹配后续操作的准确度。
