With the development of information technology and artificial intelligence, Computer Aided Translation (CAT) has exerted an increasingly important influence. According to research, most of the translators have used some kind of CAT tools. It can greatly improve the efficiency of translators and it also equipped with many functions such as error correction. However, it still needs to be improved. This thesis intends to discuss the current situation of CAT, including its technology, popularity and influence, etc.
