It is known that China has developed the world`s most thriving Englishtraining industry in the last few decades, with a great number of traininginstitutions and schools providing diverse programmes. However, with the rapiddevelopment of wireless network and mobile devices, online English training hasbecome a preferred choice for more language learners than ever. Meanwhile, thetraining specifically for pronunciation is developing with notable speed. As anincreasing number of people are seeking for break-through in Englishpronunciation while having little time for physical training institutions,various forms of online programmes, such as websites and mobile applications,are designed to serve their changing motivation and need. This thesis aims toprovide a general introduction of online training for English pronunciation,analyze its forms and features, as well as discussing its causes and futureprospect.
