This paper will collectdifferent translation versionsof movietitlesin mainland,HongKong and Taiwanto analyse the similarities and differences among these collected versions in these three regions.Based on the collected materials, this paper will study on personal factors, regional culture, targeted audiences and other elements that result in the phenomena.From this, this paper will make research on the diversity of translation preferences and show the importance of English-Chinese translation in film industry.
