In College English teaching,reading teaching is an importantpart,which helps to cultivate students’interest in English andimprovetheirEnglishskills.However,therearestillmanyproblemsincurrentEnglishreadingteaching.ScaffoldingTeaching is based on the more mature mode of constructivism learning theory.Scaffolding Teaching emphasizes that teachers or peers with higher abilityprovide help and guidance to students, help students to reach the highest levelthrough their recent development zone, and then solve problemsindependently.This thesis will take college English reading class as theresearch object, and mainly observe how teachers use scaffolding teaching andhow scaffolding teaching can better stimulate students' interest in learningand promote students' autonomous learning ability.

1. Searchvarious resources to identify the topic for the dissertation.
2.Collect data and materials for the dissertation and write the paper onschedule.
3. The paper should give an elaborate and exhaustive research on thegiven topic with independent work.

Before 4th January : settlement of the title
Before 6th March: submissionof the outline
Before 30th April : submissionof the first draft
